Before you get onboard

Let us know about any medical conditions or concerns beforehand
Bring a positive attitude and enjoy the experience!

What to bring
We provide life jackets to all participants. However, there are a few personal items you should bring to stay comfortable for maximum joy.
We recommend:
Comfortable shoes with good grip (please avoid black soles/shoes that leave marks)
Sunglasses and sunscreen
Water bottle and food (ready to eat without further preparations)
Change of clothes (optional, but recommended)
Clothing & weather
Weather conditions on the water can change quickly, even during summer. It often feels colder at sea due to wind and water exposure.
We recommend:
Wear several layers (3 layers recommended) instead of one thick jacket
Wear a jacket (and trousers if possible) suitable for wet conditions and wind
Avoid garments made of cotton (dries poorly)
If available, bring extra protection against wind and rain
Wear clothes you don’t mind getting slightly wet

Yes. After completing the beginner course, you have several options to further develop your skills. You can join our racing courses or take an ICC course through one of our partners. The ICC certificate allows you to charter sailing yachts in most parts of the world.
We also offer tailored courses for groups who wish to train further after the beginner course. Please note that sailing skills are perishable and need regular practice to stay sharp.
